We hereby provide you with three videos from Prague’s cannabis fair, in the Czech Republic: Cannafest fair. It was a total success, in regards to attendance. Next year, more of it, and better too.

September 14th, 15th and 16th, the Fair Expogrow 2012 took place in Irun. It was the first time for this cannabis fair, focused on the Basque and French public. Its location, a few meters away from the border, has allowed for many French attendants to come and enjoy possibly the best cannabis fair ever to be carried out. This was not due to the amount of attendants which, since it was the first time it took place, it did not manage to fill the facilities, but for the professionalism of the event itself. There were live concerts performed by such important and well known artists as Morodo, Cypress Hill and Marea; amongst others. There was also a graffiti competition and a skate contest, all of these at a great area annexed to the Ficoba pavilion, next to the food and drinks stalls. All this, as well as the three pavilions dedicated to the industry professionals’ stands, made up a fair which shows promise, in its consecutive series, as one of the best cannabis fairs in Europe.
We were there, without our stand this time, though with a counter at the Yerbagüena Grow Shop stand, trying to help them out as much as we could. We chatted with countless growers, specially French ones, who declared their love for our strains. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that French public knew and loved our seeds so much. This is the reason why, most probably, we will be there with our “Seed Factory” stand next year.

Last weekend (April 20th, 21st and 22nd), the first edition of the Grow Med, the medical cannabis fair, took place at the Valencia exhibition site. Exhibitors attendance was outstanding, unlike the public’s, which remained quite low throughout the whole weekend. Obviously, comparison with other fairs which have been running for years, made the public seem scarce (we calculated 5000-6000 people, though we do not know the real number of people who attended). Visitors had a great time; they got lots of presents from many manufacturers who offered free samples to the visitors.
At the end, the awards, where Eva Seeds got the First Prize to the Best Stand.

Spannabis is over. Three months of hard work on the part of our whole team (thank you everybody!) culminated in the three days the fair lasted for. Our efforts to throw a huge party and a fantastic stand bore fruit.
Everything went just fine: our Eva girls were great, all beautiful, danced with us and with Ben Jammin, who also did his best to the public’s delight: a white star with a black voice. U-rie and Yuanan were also fantastic on Saturday, and managed to liven the public up, which is not an easy task in this type of events. We gave away thousands of seeds, both at the entrance and during the concerts (people nearly came to blows!). Volcanoes were “smoking” for three days, poor things! They’re done in (thank you Volcano for the loan), and the 3 meter balloons left a few people flabbergasted.
As a result of all this, at “a somewhat sad and surrealistic “ as always, prize presentation, we got the Award to the Best Stand Spannabis 2011, which filled us up with pride and joy.
We would like to thank our friends from Cactus Martorell for having allowed us to use their space from the previous year, so we could throw the amazing party we had intended to. Without them we would still be in our little hole from past years.
We hope to have contributed to improve the fair with our work (something that was needed and still is); to encourage others to imitate us and improve their stands; and all of us to further entertained our visitors, so that they really enjoy three unforgettable days. We hope everybody takes note of this, specially the big brands and the fair’s organizers, to make next year’s fair a world’s best.
